Resources for You
The quality of care provided to your child is the focus of our professional society. We formed PCICS in order to share, and enhance, the knowledge base available to physicians and other health care providers in cardiac care for children.
Accordingly, most of the content of this website is for PCICS members. But we want you, as a parent, relative, or friend, to have a resource for information about conditions and treatments.

You want to know what to expect in coming days as your child receives care. You might want to know the meaning of medical terminology related to your child's condition, or read more about the details of cardiac procedures. Material on our site, and links to other sites, might give you the answers you seek. Please remember that you also have an expert resource close at hand -- one who is well versed on topics that concern you the most. We encourge you to talk with your child's physician.
